Wedding is one of the biggest events in the couple’s life. They spend thousand of hours in preparation for a perfect day for them. There are many things that needs to be consider before start planning the wedding day: theme of the wedding, colour scheme, style of wedding dress, type of suits, venue, invitation…and the list goes on and on. In this post blog we would like to talk more in detail about  a huge trends in the wedding suit department.

Wedding suits go through trends year after year. In 2016 we can see few influential trends.

*First one is traditional tweed which will be more popular with a fashion forward and confident grooms who want to look more slick and stylish.

* The second trend is a choice of grey suit for groom. This trend is an influence from celebrities.

*The third and most popular trends for 2016 is blue type suit. Blue colour wedding suit looks good on Irish pale skin. It looks very stylish and elegant. When we are talking about blue suit we have in mind many different shades of blue. You can pick from electric blue, royal blue, light blue, dark blue, navy blue and so on.. For more confident grooms we recommend electric blue colour wedding suit. It most definately will make you stand out from the crowd. For more reserve grooms we would recommend to go with navy blue suit which will give you more classic look. For all shades of blue suits you can choose brown leather shoes to finish off chic and stylish look. To give you more idea about the style of blue suit for a wedding day we would like to show you below couple of images of our recent customer Peter who pulls this look off very well. Let me add that his groomens look fab too. All colour coordinated.

Peter, the groom is wearing our ‘Scott’ navy 2 piece suit with a silver check waistcoat and navy matching tie, where the groomsmen are wearing our  ‘Scott’ navy 3 piece suit from the wedding hire service.
The wedding hire package included Bennetti white double cuff shirts with cuff links and cobalt blue ties. The cost for this hire package was €120 per outfit.

The groom and groomens are wearing brown shoes by Dice . You can buy those shoes in our Carlow and Kilkenny store. The shoes cost €89.95

On that note we would like wish all the best to Laura and Peter in their married life.
